These terms apply to your use of TextFixerr at https://textfixerr.site (“the site”). The site is published by Naveed. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What the site provides

The site provides two browser-based tools for cleaning the formatting of text, and written guides about text formatting. The tools are free to use and require no account.

2. Provided as-is

The site, its tools and its guides are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

3. Results may not be perfect

The tools apply mechanical rules to text. Some of those rules are heuristics: joining lines copied from a PDF, rejoining hyphenated words, and removing markup are informed guesses and can be wrong. The tools may also contain errors.

You are responsible for checking the result before you rely on it. Keep a copy of your original text, and read through anything important — legal, medical, financial, academic or published material in particular — after cleaning it.

4. Your text and data

Text you enter is processed in your browser as described in the privacy policy. You remain solely responsible for the text and data you put into the tools, including making sure you have the right to use it and that processing it does not breach any duty of confidentiality or any law that applies to you. The site does not keep a copy and cannot recover text for you.

5. Availability and changes

The site may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time, without notice. Tool behaviour, options and guides may be updated. There is no guarantee that the site will be available at any particular time or that a feature will continue to exist.

6. Intellectual property

The site’s design, code, logo and written content are protected by copyright and other laws and belong to the site’s publisher or its licensors. You may use the site for personal or business purposes, link to its pages, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of the guides, or copy the site’s design or code, without permission.

Text that you clean with the tools remains yours. Using the tools gives the site no rights over it.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• use the site in any way that breaks a law or infringes someone else’s rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
• scrape or copy the site’s content in bulk for republication or to train a competing service;
• present the site, its tools or its content as your own;
• interfere with, obscure or generate artificial clicks or impressions on any advertising shown on the site.

8. External links

Guides link to third-party websites for reference. Those sites are not under this site’s control, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site’s publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, text, profit or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, including any error in a result.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing in them affects rights you have as a consumer under the law of the place where you live.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
